Abstrak
This study aims to describe the context of situation containing in The Effectiveness of Demonstration to Improve Students English Achievement. The research problems of the study are the effectiveness, demonstration method, improves students’ English achievement. The study is expected to be beneficial to the world of literature and complement to the study of effectiveness demonstration. In addition, the writer hopes the result of the study will give additional information to the reader and can contribute to the development of improve students’ English achievement. Especially in vocabulary learn. Therefore, this study of teaching to motivate students to improve their capability and to suggest the teacher to be more creative in performing teaching activities. It is a descriptive study, where the data is taken from teaching of MI Sruwen IV of Tengaran, Semarang in the academic year of 2009/2010. Kind of data that will be presented in the study are data that show the condition of student’s class, such as data that show: what is happening, about language teaching, methodology of language teaching, realia with learns as demonstration. The results of the study show that field of the research to find out the concept of the use of demonstration method in English teaching, and to find the effectiveness of demonstration method toward students’ English achievement. Keyword: demonstration, achievement, and effectiveness.
